Andrea Tomat and Adriano Sartor give life to the Stonefly project in the heart of the world's hub for sports footwear, Montebelluna (Italy). The objective is to transfer solutions developed from the sport sector research to every-day shoes, without forgetting the aesthetics. In the early 90s Tomat collaborates with the best athletes such as Boris Becker.

Intuition is created from a blue capsule: Blusoft. A gel pad, inserted in the sole, which has three very important benefits: soft (maximum shock absorption), light (less fatigue), easy (maximum stability). Blusoft allows you to walk with softness, lightness and without fatigue. A period of research begins aimed at the constant upgrading of the product.

Stonefly conquers the Italian market and a significant growth abroad is registered. In 2001 the brand is distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide.
