Flying A was founded in Copenhagen in 1992 by Swede Mia Berglund and Canadian Glenn Gosling, finding inspiration from their visit to the Roskilde festival. The goal was to create a multi brand concept where new brands from around the world would mix with denim, vintage and accessories. The concept was a success with the Copenhagen store becoming a trend beacon attracting the best brands and their followers.
In 2008 it was time for Flying A to launch its own label that would reflect the store concept and ethics. The label with two men's and two women's collections per year is now stocked in 100 stores in Europe as well as the Flying A stores in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Stockholm and New York. |
